Apurv Sardeshmukh
Apurv Sardeshmukh is the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Stride Legal. With nearly 20 years in the profession, he has advised a variety of private equity firms, venture capital firms, investors, foreign companies and domestic companies on corporate laws, investment laws, foreign exchange regulations, commercial laws, IT laws and labour laws, including on investment transactions, due diligences and a wide range of M&A transactions.
Apurv has also advised and represented several sports persons and teams in matters related to player contracts, endorsement contracts and sporting regulations, as well as many artists, media houses and production houses on endorsement agreements, representation agreements and the protection of intellectual property rights.
He has advised several entities on matters related to data privacy and data protection, and has also advised organisations on issues related to employment laws, labour laws and wage structuring.
In 2019, Apurv authored ‘Data Protection – Law and Regulation’, a book analysing privacy laws across the world, published by Thomson Reuters. He has also published articles on Company Law, Employment Law, Corporate Governance and Shareholder rights.
